Scientific committee is an advisory body for OSE on scientific issues. Based on OSE`s strategic plan, the committee shall serve as advisory body to EC on science clinical care related issues and be involved in identifying the theme for the annual OSE Scientific conference, drafting presentation and meeting programs of the scientific conference, identifying paper /poster/abstract for the conference. The committee shall work with education group on important topics in ophthalmic specialties to be included for CME. The committee may also develop guidelines related with their responsibility. When in need, in alignment with OSE strategy, the committee shall review and recommend the amendment of strategic priorities. The committee members shall work as OSE representatives everywhere they are and promote OSE`s work on scientific issues.
